    Telehealth Therapy

    • Do you need support, but can’t make it to an in-person appointment?
    • Are concerned about in person sessions due to Covid-19?
    • Do your work odd hours that prevent you from meeting with a therapist?
    • Are you a busy stay-at-home parent or caregiver and don’t have the time to drive across town for an appointment?
    • Do prefer to do things Virtually?

If so, I may be able to help you through telehealth therapy.

I offer Telehealth therapy (online video counseling) services using a HIPAA compliant secure video platform. Telehealth therapy can be a good alternative to traditional face-to-face therapy especially during the Pandemic.  Feeling safe emotionally, as well as physically is important.  My goal is to provide both.

Telehealth therapy is therapy done through a live video connection over the internet.  Research suggests that telehealth therapy can be as effective as traditional face-to-face counseling, and many clients find that video therapy is more convenient, accessible, stress free and time efficient than attending sessions in person.  If you are comfortable with technology like Skype and FaceTime –Teletherapy might be right for you.

While Telehealth offers many benefits, and has been found to be effective in treating a wide range of mental and emotional issues, there is no guarantee that Telehealth is effective for all individuals. In some cases, it may not be the best fit for the client and their needs.   If I believe it is not clinically appropriate and that you would be better served by in-person therapy, I will discuss this with you.  If such services with me are not possible because of distance, referrals will be provided to other therapists who offer such services.

    Insurance Reimbursement

Reimbursement for telehealth services is determined by your insurance company and applicable law, so it is important that you verify coverage before starting.
